Yes! If you are booking one of our authors, How Now will help to coordinate book sales for your event.  You are welcome to work with your local bookseller, the author’s preferred bookseller (when possible), Texas Book Distribution, or The Silver Unicorn Bookstore!

We have partnered with The Silver Unicorn Bookstore to support the book-ordering part of your author visit!  Here’s a brief overview:

• An order form (like this one) is created that you distribute to staff & families. 
• You or a designee collects the forms and the payments. 
• You tally the orders & share them with the bookstore. The Silver Unicorn offers discounts on bulk numbers; therefore, your school/PTO will get between a 15-25% cut of the total sales! The total discount depends on the final numbers. 
• The bookstore places your order with the publisher(s) and sends you an invoice with payment instructions. Delivery is free!
• Once the books arrive, check to see that the totals match your tally and that there aren’t any damaged copies. Let the bookstore know that all is well (or not well!), then you can distribute the books how and when you see fit.
• The Silver Unicorn can do a secondary order for kids who get excited post-visit and NEED that book!
