Maria Scrivan (she/her) (http://www.mariascrivan.com) is a New York Times bestselling author and award-winning syndicated cartoonist.
The first book in her graphic novel series, Nat Enough (Scholastic/Graphix), launched on April 7th, 2020, and became an instant New York Times bestseller followed by: Forget Me Nat, Absolutely Nat, Definitely Nat, Nat for Nothing, All is Nat Lost and Nat a Chance. The seventh and eighth books in the series will be published in 2026 and 2028. The Nat Enough series has been translated into twelve languages.
Undercover Pup, a new graphic novel series for ages 7-10, will be published by Scholastic in 2027. She is also a contributor for Marvel Super Stories (Abrams, 2023) and Flash Gordon Adventures Vol. 2 (Papercutz, 2025.)
Maria’s comic, Half Full, syndicated by Andrews McMeel, appeared daily in newspapers nationwide including the LA Times for a decade. Her work has appeared in many publications including MAD Magazine, Highlights, Parade Magazine, and Wired, and she has sold over a million greeting cards licensed with her comics.
Maria lives in Connecticut, close to New York City. When she’s not writing or drawing, she is traveling, running on trails, or standing on her head.
