“Beautifully written… This book will surely become a family favorite and will make children from all over the world smile.”  – San Francisco Book Review on The Corgi and the Queen

Caroline Perry (she/her) (www.carolinelperry.com) is a British author and poet whose award-winning picture book, The Corgi and the Queen, has been featured in PEOPLE magazine, VOGUE, Vanity Fair, and numerous other domestic and international publications.

Caroline’s career has been dedicated to the written word—first as a journalist, then as a children’s book author, where she transformed her lifelong love of storytelling into a profession. Caroline writes across several genres, and her upcoming 2025 titles include:

  • The Memory Cake – A lyrical, intergenerational story set in Malta during WWII.
  • Messi’s Magic – A picture book biography of soccer legend Lionel Messi.
  • I AM NOT HAPPY! – A humorous story (with nonfiction backmatter) about an adorable quokka who’s determined to let the world know that his frown is simply upside down!

A keen traveler, Caroline has lived in four countries and visited more than 60 others. She is a nature lover, a youth soccer coach and an enthusiastic (but decidedly amateur) baker who’s partial to good cakes, bad jokes and a spot of afternoon tea. Caroline also volunteers as an elementary school writing instructor, helping young authors-to-be gain the confidence to tell their own stories.

Caroline lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.
