Carrie A. Pearson (carriepearsonbooks.com) is a full-time Finder of Amazing Stories for Children and the Best Words to Tell Them. She is the author of several nonfiction books for young readers – many drafted on the sandy shore of Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan, where she lives – including most recently, Real Princesses Change the World (Macmillan/Roaring Brook Press) and Virginia Wouldn’t Slow Down!
