Misty Wilson (she/her) (mistywilsonwrites.com) is the New York Times bestselling author of Falling Like Leaves and the award-winning middle-grade graphic memoir Play Like a Girl. She is a teacher, a registered nurse, and a voracious reader. She loves binge-watching television series and adores rom-coms. She lives in Northeast Ohio with her husband and their two daughters.

Misty and David Wilson are the husband and wife team behind the award-winning middle grade graphic memoir Play Like a Girl. When they aren’t creating graphic novels together, they’re writing their own separate books, including the YA graphic novel Soulmates (David) and the Bramble Falls YA rom-com series (Misty). Misty and David are both educators, and they live with their two daughters in Ohio, where they love exploring nature, reading, and filming movies.
