Ann Diament Koffsky (she/her) (annkoffsky.com) is the author and illustrator of more than fifty books for children. She’s also collaborated on books with Temple Grandin and Dr. Ruth Westheimer. Ann tailors her discussions to all ages and grade levels. Using examples from her books as a starting point, she describes the process of making a book from the first word, to the initial sketches, to the final published book. Her program is lively and interactive. It includes a sketching demonstration, a grab bag of props and lots of other fun surprises!
Previously, she was an editor and art director at Behrman House Publishers, and an illustration professor at Stern College, Yeshiva University. Her author visits are educational, engaging, and empowering.
