Kari Anne Holt (she/her) (kaholt.com) is the best-selling author of more than fifteen books for young readers, including the award-winning middle grade novels-in-verse House Arrest, Knockout, Redwood & Ponytail, and the Kids Under the Stairs series. Her novels have been featured on over 30 state library reading lists, and her picture book, I Wonder was nominated for a Bill Martin Jr. Picture Book Award, as well as featured in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Kari Anne’s writing for adults can be found in several Best of McSweeney’s collections, Publisher’s Weekly, and in KUT’s syndicated weekly radio news program, The Texas Standard.
