Meghan P. Browne (meghanpbrowne.com) is the award-winning author of ’23-’24 Bluebonnet Master List title, Indelible Ann: The Larger-than-Life Story of Governor Ann Richards (with illustrator Carlynn Whitt), Dorothy the Brave (with illustrator Brooke Smart), and The Bees of Notre Dame (with illustrator E.B. Goodale). Her forthcoming middle grade novel, Welcome to Heaven, is due out with Feiwel & Friends in Spring 2026.
Meghan holds a BA from The University of Arizona and an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas where she now lives with her husband, Greg, their three children, a pasture full of goats and chickens, a donkey named Eddie, a thriving honeybee apiary, and the goodest girl, Cricket. She can often be found swimming in Deep Eddy or running around the Town Lake Trail while she procrastinates on her publishing deadlines.
